What a relief to know that finally everything is back to normal! I'm sure you are enjoying every minute of your time together. Abby is a beautiful gal and Sam is such a ham! Love the pictures!

Wow, love the new set of pictures and the recent update. Think of you often even tho I haven't been on here in a while. Babies are the absolute perfect gift from God. If I never get another gift from a store I would be just fine. After grandchildren there is NOTHING in comparison. (Well, little great nephews and nieces may need to be added to that short list :) )

So glad to hear the continued good news about Abby. What a lucky little girl she is. Keep up the good work. We love you. P.S. For those of us not in the currently ovulating generation, what the heck is a Dr. Brown baby bottle? ???We have some brown bottles here but mainly they have Bud Light on the side of them but you are welcome to them after Rick has them emptied.

Yeah! A new post! That means I can comment.....again:). What a beautiful little girl you have...so sweet and tiny and perfect! Oler (ha!) loved hanging out with Sam and was bawling all the way home because he wanted to keep playing...actually he only cried until we got to McDonalds where I proceeded to buy him a kids size orange drink so that he would not scream and would stay awake on the way home (I know...no mother of the year award) but it worked! We love you guys!!!

Kristin...you are such a caring person. I will definately look for premie clothes on my garage sale excursions...I have 4 planned for today and tomorrow! We don't have a NICU here in Algona so I will add to your pile the next time I see you! That is a such a small act but as you noted makes those parents feel just a bit better!

Great photos....the one with her on the snuggly blanket after the bath I think she looks soooooo much like Sam. Esp thru the eyes. It's almost like the could be brother and sister. I love his short haircut too. She is certainly growing fast. Keep up the good work. Love, aunt di

Kristin - Happy Mother's Day to one of the best moms I know. You are truly an inspiration in all that you do as a mom! Give those cute kids a squeeze from me! I hope they gave you extra love today...you deserve it!

Happy Mother's Day!! Great photos and glad to hear things are going well. I don't think she was mocking Todd, but actually hiding her eyes from the shirt he was wearing. Thanks for taking the time to do the updates with everything you have going on. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thanks for sending me the link to your blog it was definitely like walking down memory lane. Benjamin's situation was almost identical to Abby's, although he didn't have the fluid to deal with and they were able to wait until he was a bit older for his pacer. He will turn 23 in August. His active lifestyle should be evidence that Abby can do anything she wants to do except work around heavy magnetic fields!

I love the pictures....You have great looking children (really all Schulz kids do)......I hope things continue to go well for you. Thank you for updating this website so that long distance family members can keep updated. Miss you.

Just read todays update and it sounds like she is doing great. I miss you guys here in the NICU but so glad you can be in your own home now. Also I'm glad she is a healthy baby now. Stop by some night to see us when you have the time haha that's funny you probably are very very busy with Sam and Abby...anyways take care and I will keep posted with your website.

Glad to hear things are settling into a new normal! We would be happy to meet you at the zoo for a little time away from the house this summer!!!
From: Heidi - Des Moines, IA 5/6/2009 8:00:21 PM
Glad things are going well! She is doing great on her weight gain! Don't forget that you have a meal coming your way whenever you want it....all you have to do is call. And this summer.....how about play-dates?!?!?!?!?! The boys can play and the women can talk (Abby included in the talking)!

Hope all is continuing to go well and the visit from the home care nurse went well! We continue to think about you and pray that you are falling into a good routine at home! Take care and pinch those soft cheeks for me!

Thanks for the pictures. Sam, I can tell that you are such a good brother. Wanting to help out Mom and Dad and Abby. Todd, thanks for making this website...what an awesome way to keep family and friends informed...what a blessing to read and see! Kristin, what a great mamma! Abby, you are a beautiful little girl. We will be continuing to pray for total physical healing and growth...Amazing what the Lord can do!

Sounded like a great checkup. Too bad you have to wake the baby for feeding. Getting use to sleeping for several hours at a time is not something you want to discourage. Now that her schedule is normal in your own home setting, I'll bet she will settle in and gain some weight and you can feed her on demand. Here is a little secret for increasing the sodium. Salt around the rim of beverages. If Kristin is nursing, this may be a bit painful to her, but as a mother, I'm sure she would get use to the burning and do it for Abby. Keep up the good work. We love you, di

great pictures.....love her outfit. also loved the captions including the new sam 'book drop'. i can see you won't be letting him do child care solo for quite sometime. Even if he uses the line, 'No, seriously, Dad, I'll be careful and I'll use good judgement.' So glad your home and will be anxious to hear what the doc's said today.
