Kristin & Todd,
Thinking of you these past few days and glad to hear of the continued good news. I can't say it enough, Abby is a beautiful baby girl! We just can't wait to meet her!
From: Wohlfords - Ankeny, IA 4/25/2009 6:23:19 PM
Wishing you all the best and love the pictures of the new cutie. I don't know what Sam is prouder of, sister or going with Papa Lake and Mom. Keep up with those snuggles, it never gets old. With all the gloomy weather it was nice to read happy news. Take care, God bless you all.
Cynthia, Mike, Katy and Mary

PS Mary says I love you Sam! Give baby Abby a hug from us:)

Could you ever imagine being so happy to change yucky diapers! So thrilled the sun is shining brightly on the Pawlowski family today at Mercy. You all deserve it. Wishing you all continued good news, strength, endurance and warm embracing love!

Yeah!!!! I was out of town yesterday....so away from the computer and phone and it was killing me to not know what was going on! It is so good to hear that things are going well! I can NOT wait to meet her much longer....could I change that situation soon?!?!?!?!? I know you guys are so tired, but you are doing a GREAT job with everything!
From: Jerry & Chris - Urbandale, IA 4/25/2009 1:30:53 PM
Thank you for keeping us all informed about Abby's progress. We are keeping all of you close to our hearts.

How sweet it will be to have her home with the family!!! It was so good to hear from Kristin!!! We think and pray for you often!

My friend Trisha says to check out the chocolate chip cookies at the cafeteria.... they are awesome and pretty cheap. She also said you could call her for other tips as she and baby Anna spent 96 days there in the NICU - she knows lots of tricks and tips!!!! Thankfully your time shouldn't be quite so long.... her little miracle chose to come at 23 weeks or so.... yep - Anna is a definite miracle!!! Maybe her and Abby can be pals once Abby gets out and Anna can have visitors at home!!!

HUGS TO YOU ALL!

Kristin, I was delighted to read and touched by your message today. You are truly a gift to motherhood. As many have stated, this website is amazing and keeps us all thinking, praying, and connecting to your little angel's story. Thank you to you both for being such amazing people. I am proud to call you 'friends.' With love, Shannon

Kristin it was so nice to read a post from you! (No offense Todd- I like yours too) I am so happy that you received good news today and Abby is doing better. Todd I am sure if she was able to, Abby would roll her eyes at you and tell you to leave her alone! Give her 5 years and she will for sure.....

I think Todd should think about a career change! You have done a wonderful job and Abby thinks so, too I know she would agree if she could talk!

Abby and Andrew will get along well, he is an eating machine too and loved sleeping on his tummy from day one (shhhh.....don't tell the people that write all the parenting books but I let him sleep on his tummy for naps). Great to hear your voice Kristin. Keep up the good work and rest when you can. I know it isn't easy. We love you all lots!!

So she's an eater! Just like her mom....and her 'aunt' Jess!!! That's great to hear :). I can't wait for Abby and I to have some 'snacks' together. I am sure she will be a 'sharer' just like her big brother!

Burping is a beautiful thing. It is one of my favorite sounds. Soon you'll get to smell my second favorite 'mommy' smell- baby cereal. :) Sending warm wishes your way. The 1st grade teachers at KA are also VERY thankful for this website!!

I couldn't help crying reading about what little Abby has to go through and the tremendous stress you are experiencing. But I know that in the end everything will be OK, she sounds like a tough little cookie and all the prayers that are being said for Abby's recovery will be answered. I will continue saying mine throughout each day. And please remember that I'm here if you need me.

Praying for those sleepless nights for you. I know you are looking forward to them. Give Abby and Sam a hug from me! I hope you have a good day tomorrow. You all are the first thing I think of when I get up in the morning and the last thing I think of at night. God bless you all!

Hi, Abby - Hey, I just wanted to let you know that we made cards for you in IDM today. You have to buck up a bit - I know, I know - you are just like my daughter, Callen, do well, then have a set back, then do well. . . but Cal is now 14 and a darn right strong girl. So, follow in her path. . . you just need to do it now. We're going to Minneapolis this weekend for a wedding. We have a couple of Flat Stanley's from second grade that we are taking. I'll check this websit so that I know you are proving me right!

Hang in there, girl - you can do this and you can do it right!!!!

Love,

Carolyn

Please add our names to the list of those wanting to help in any way. Our prayers continue. Abby sounds like an incredibly strong little girl, but that shouldn't surprise us, look at her parents.
Love & Hugs!
