| For Todd, Kristin, Sam and Abby There is a candle burning in front of the Holy Family Shrine at St. Charles Church where Grandma Pawlowski always lit candles. We are praying that Abby is home with her brother and Mom and Dad very, very soon. She looks like an amazing and strong little princess. Keep the pictures coming, she is so beautiful. |

It was so much fun seeing pictures and when I saw her darling face I sighed audibly! She just keeps overcoming every challenge big or small and we will keep praying that she will be home in her new room soon with her new big brother watching over her. We love you lots! Ann & Rich |

THanks for all the posts. We are praying for you all!!!
When Harrison was going through his stuff they tried to stick him EIGHT times to get in an IV. I learned later from two doctors to NEVER let them do that to a baby. If they can't get it in in TWO they should call a flight nurse because they are able to get IV's in while in flight - so they are REALLY good! I can only imagine how you and Abby felt getting poked so much. It tore me apart and I kept asking 'Do you HAVE to do this?' Now I know better. We are allowed to stick up for our children. We are allowed to ask them to STOP. We are allowed to ask for other people to try and to get other opinions. When every you start to feel uncomfortable with the care Abby is getting tell them, ask them to stop, ask LOTS of questions. You are HER parents - you have control.
Keep praying and learning! Someday when she is 15 we will have a celebration party for her!!! She WILL know what a miracle and strong girl she is! She will know HOW LOVED SHE REALLY IS!!!
May GOD bless you all!

| First of all Aunt Amy and I might have a little brawl on our hands 'favorite aunt' I think Miss Abby might need to have a 'Favorite Grimes Aunt, Favorite Urbandale Aunt and a Favorite St. Louis Aunt'!! Cole and Cade said extra prayers for their cousin Abby tonight and thinks she should go home tomorrow. Of course, we all want that and know that day will be here-SOON! 1 Samuel 1:27 I prayed for this child, and the Lord granted my request. |
