| So wish I was there! We are praying lots up north! Abby has proven herself a fighter - I am confident that she will overcome this hurdle as well. Thanks for the pictures. She is absolutely adorable, and looks so strong! I will be thinking of you constantly! Take care and try to get some sleep. |

I'm checking this site twice a day and I can feel the roller-coaster effect all these many miles away. The pictures do help tho because she does look strong and like a fighter!! Would it help to have a FEW different people come to the hospital and visit with you in the lobby area?? Sure any relatives or close friends would be glad to see you. Just let us know. Also remember Gene's niece Dianne has a now college-age daughter that has a pacemaker AND defibulator (spelling??) after numerous surgeries so we could connect you with another mom and dad that can
talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk with you... Love and prayers to you all. |

| I'm adding all the doctors and nurses (and cafeteria folks) to my list of 'pray for' people!!! It takes a LOT of people to see to it that all is well when she heads home to learn the ropes from Sam!!! Love you all!! |

Seriously!!!! Our prayers are with you! I know how trying these times can be. Focus on the good times and the good news - because there is a lot of that! I thought you guys were at Methodist... Now that I know Mercy - I so can picture everything! Mention your nurses names - I'll bet they are some of the same ones Harrison had. I will pray the AC stays on and the fire alarm stays off..... both things went haywire in the SHORT time we were there!!! (Both on the night that I spent there..... go figure!)
We love you all so much!

| Kristin I cannot imagine how torn you are right now to leave your little baby and knowing that Sam needs you too. Stay strong and know that everyday you are getting closer to having her home. She is where she needs to be right now and there are so many wonderful people taking care of her and praying for her. I can't wait to see some new pictures! |

Just wanted to let you know that we were thinking of you also and we look forward to meeting little Abby.
Celebrating Harrison's birthday today, does remind you just how fast they really do grow up like Melissa said...it feels like just yesterday I was going to Mercy over my lunch hour to visit them when Harrison had a short stay in the NICU. |

Soooooo happy to hear she is eating and opening her eyes a little. Can't wait til you are home and ready for visitors! HUGS TO YOU ALL! |

Was great to hear all that good news, Todd. Thanks for keeping us up to date. You do such a good job of that. Sorry I missed seeing you today at your house but was good you got some one-on-one time with your daughter. Hope Kristin got a nap while Sam napped she looked tired but great spirits as she always is. Keep up the good work.
Hope Sam got a cookie when he got up from his nap. He had his heart set on one before his nap and his mean mother saw differently. I must say, I wanted to have an intervention and say, 'I brought the darn cookies and if the cute little boy wants one he can have one before AND after his nap.' To prevent me from putting my nose somewhere it didn't belong, I just left. I was acting like a grandma and making heartfelt decisions and not mother sensible decisions. |
