Todd, WOW! You have been doing an amazing job keeping this site up to date considering your busy and hectic schedule. I'm so glad to hear that Abby is doing so well. We look forward to hearing that she is allowed to come home. I hope your Monday goes as well as today! Take care...

So glad to hear you got to hold Abby some more. I am sure she loves the extra snuggles! I will continue to pray for all of you as you work to find your 'new normal'. Balancing two kids can be a really tough job even when they are under the same roof, let alone trying to bounce back and forth between home and hospital. Be sure to take care of yourselves and get plenty of rest. Before you know it, that sweet girl will be heading home to keep you up at night. I know you both are looking forward to that day! Take care....

Kristin and Todd-it has been so heartening to see all of the good wishes coming from all over the place, and I decided you needed one from the Kansas City area also! I have been watching anxiously for you updates-this is such a wonderful thing you've done to keep all of us who love your family informed w/o the need to field billions of calls while you are so wrapped up in the obvious needs and anxieties associated with them. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers fortunately, Abby won't recall any of this:-) Our granddaughter Charlotte had to have a lobe of her lung removed when she was 5 weeks old, so we can empathize a wee bit with you. Take good care, Ramona

I will pray that Abby continues to heal....you get to hold her...and that Sam adjusts just fine to all of this! Love you guys! |

Kristin I can't get the funny story out of my mind of when you were 'pumping' for Sam and the noise of machine...hopefully this time the machine isn't talking to you! I hope you are starting to feel better and healing quickly. We will pray really hard today that Abby gets to be held by mom and dad! Keep strong!

You two get some rest tonight. Please continue to throw all of your cares before God. He is healing and strengthening Abby at this very moment. Just reflecting on where Abby was at four months ago. It is absolutely amazing how far she has come! Kristin and Todd you are wonderful parents and Sue and I are so blessed to call you friends.

The updates are GREAT!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to post the latest. We all appreciate it so very much! Let me know if you would like me to come take you out for supper while you are at the hospital - OR if I can sit with Abby so the two of you can go out together. I am happy to do anything I can to make this part of your journey a little easier! Continuing prayers that everything goes smoothly!
